Trim Prep

Detangling prior and hair positioning is useful because these can determine the true length in which you are cutting, so be sure to have your hair detangled and extended to prevent cutting more than desirable.

Proper Scissors

Hair Scissors are an important tool to prevent additional split ends and/or uneven cuts.

Stretched hair is a personal preference because cutting hair while it is wet and/or curly can be a little deceiving in regards to how much you are cutting.
